Look, we'll be honest - back in 2011, it was just three architects who were tired of seeing the same cookie-cutter buildings go up everywhere. We wanted to do something different, something that wouldn't make the planet worse off.
Fast forward to today, we've designed over 200 projects across Canada. Every single one's got our DNA in it - clean lines, green tech, and spaces people actually wanna spend time in.
Our Toronto office on Bay Street's where the magic happens. Coffee's always brewing, ideas are flying, and we're constantly pushing what's possible with sustainable materials.
Three simple things we won't compromise on
Every project we touch needs to be carbon-neutral or pretty damn close. We're not playing around with greenwashing - our buildings actually work with nature, not against it.
Buildings are for people, right? So we design spaces that feel good. Natural light, proper ventilation, materials that don't off-gas weird chemicals. Basic stuff that too many folks forget.
We're constantly testing new materials, new systems, new ways of doing things. Sometimes it works, sometimes we learn what not to do. That's how you get better.
We don't believe in over-complicating things. Here's how we roll:
We actually sit down and hear what you need. No assumptions, just real conversations about how you live or work.
We check out the land, sun patterns, wind, local ecosystem. Can't design properly if you don't know what you're working with.
We sketch, model, test, and refine. You're involved the whole way - it's your building after all.
We're on-site making sure everything's done properly. No shortcuts, no substitutions that compromise the design.
The folks making it happen
Principal Architect
Been with us since day one. She's got a thing for passive solar design and won't shut up about thermal mass (in the best way).
Sustainability Director
Our green guru. If there's a sustainable material out there, Marcus has probably tested it. LEED AP and kinda obsessed with rainwater systems.
Urban Planning Lead
Handles all our bigger urban projects. Moved from Montreal five years back and brought a whole new perspective on mixed-use development.
Interior Design Director
Makes sure the insides are as good as the outsides. Got a master's in biophilic design and it shows in every space he touches.
We've picked up some awards along the way, which is nice. But honestly, the real reward is seeing our buildings perform exactly how we designed 'em - low energy bills, happy occupants, minimal environmental impact.
